Life can feel overwhelming when emotions become difficult to manage, relationships feel strained, or circumstances leave us feeling stuck and unsure of our next steps. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and healing. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, and self-esteem issues. I also have experience supporting individuals with ADHD, autism, learning differences, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe that every person has strengths that can help them move through life’s challenges, even when those strengths feel difficult to access. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk alongside you as you discover greater clarity, resilience, and confidence in yourself. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward the life you want to build.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, reviewing your history, and exploring any concerns, challenges, or goals that are important to you. Together, we will identify the areas you would like to focus on and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs and priorities. Before the session ends, we will discuss next steps and schedule future appointments so you have a clear understanding of what to expect moving forward. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and questions are always welcome. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive environment and will be happy to answer any questions you may have throughout the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I view therapy as a collaborative journey, with my role being to help guide and support you as you discover your own path forward. I believe that every person’s experience is unique, so I take time to understand your perspective and see the world through your eyes. Through thoughtful questions, curiosity, and genuine connection, I work to identify the most effective approaches to help you reach your goals. My goal is to empower you with the insight, skills, and confidence needed to create meaningful change in your life. I meet clients where they are, honor their individual pace, and tailor the therapeutic process to fit their needs and strengths. As our work progresses, I provide support, encouragement, accountability, and gentle challenges designed to promote growth while respecting your comfort level and readiness for change. I believe that the strongest therapy relationships are built on trust, acceptance, and collaboration. Together, we can create a path toward greater understanding, resilience, and lasting well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals and families who are seeking support in strengthening their connection with themselves and others, improving communication, and navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore what matters most to them and move toward meaningful, achievable goals. I believe that growth happens in connection, and that no one has to navigate life’s difficulties alone. In our work together, I help clients build insight, develop practical communication and coping skills, and strengthen relationships in ways that feel authentic and sustainable. I meet clients where they are in their journey and tailor the therapeutic process to their unique needs, strengths, and readiness for change. Whether you are working through personal struggles, relationship concerns, or broader life transitions, my focus is on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered. At this time, I am only able to provide services to clients located in Arizona.

My treatment methods

Gender-affirming therapy

I am committed to providing gender-affirming care in a respectful, supportive, and welcoming environment. I believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued for who they are. My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and acceptance, allowing clients to explore their identity and experiences without fear of judgment. I work collaboratively with clients as they navigate questions related to gender identity, self-discovery, relationships, coming out, social transitions, medical decision-making, and the emotional challenges that can arise along the way. Whether you are beginning to explore your identity, seeking support during a transition, or simply looking for a therapist who understands the importance of affirming care, my goal is to provide a space where you can feel safe, supported, and empowered. I recognize that each person’s journey is unique. Rather than making assumptions, I take the time to understand your individual experiences, goals, and needs. Together, we can build on your strengths, address challenges, and create a path forward that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Play Therapy

I provide play-based therapy to help children express themselves, process emotions, and build coping skills in a developmentally appropriate way. Play is a natural language for children, and it allows them to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express with words alone. In sessions, I use play therapy techniques to support emotional regulation, improve self-esteem, and help children work through challenges such as anxiety, behavior concerns, life transitions, trauma, grief, and difficulties at school or home. I also collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, recognizing that meaningful change often happens when the child’s support system is involved and informed. My approach is warm, accepting, and child-centered. I follow the child’s pace, build on their strengths, and create a safe and trusting environment where they can feel understood and supported. I also help parents better understand their child’s emotional world and offer practical tools to support connection, structure, and growth outside of sessions. The goal of my work is to help children feel more secure in themselves, more capable in managing their emotions, and more connected to the people who care for them.

Family Therapy

I provide family therapy to help families improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges in a more connected and supportive way. My approach is grounded in the belief that families do best when each member feels heard, respected, and understood. In sessions, I work with families to identify patterns that may be contributing to conflict, disconnection, or stress, and to develop healthier ways of interacting with one another. This may include improving communication skills, increasing emotional understanding, setting appropriate boundaries, and building problem-solving strategies that work for the whole family system. I strive to create a balanced and supportive space where each family member has the opportunity to share their perspective. I pay close attention to dynamics within the family and work to ensure that all voices are acknowledged in a way that feels safe and productive. My role is to support the family in moving from reactivity toward understanding, and from stuck patterns toward more effective connection and collaboration. I meet families where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable, while also offering guidance, structure, and gentle accountability to support meaningful change. Ultimately, the goal of family therapy is to help families feel more connected, more capable of working through conflict, and more confident in their ability to support one another outside of the therapy room.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and take practical steps toward meaningful change. This approach is future-focused and emphasizes what is already working, even in the midst of current challenges. In our work together, I will help you define what you want life to look like moving forward and explore small, achievable steps that move you in that direction. Rather than spending extensive time on the problem itself, we focus on exceptions to the problem, existing strengths, and past successes that can be built upon. SFBT is collaborative and empowering. I take a curious and respectful stance, asking thoughtful questions that help bring clarity to your goals and highlight your own expertise in your life. Clients often find this approach helpful when they are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin. My role is to support you in identifying realistic solutions that fit your life and values, while helping you recognize progress along the way. Even small changes can create meaningful momentum, and together we focus on building forward movement that feels achievable and sustainable.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support children, adolescents, and families in understanding and healing from the impact of trauma. My approach is structured, evidence-based, and always paced with care and sensitivity to each client’s readiness and sense of safety. In TF-CBT, we work together to help clients identify and understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while also developing healthy coping skills to manage distress. A key part of this work involves creating stability and safety, strengthening emotional regulation, and building resilience before processing traumatic experiences directly. When appropriate, we gradually and thoughtfully address traumatic memories in a way that is supported, contained, and empowering rather than overwhelming. I work closely with caregivers when working with children and adolescents, helping them become active participants in the healing process through support, understanding, and consistent reinforcement of skills at home. My priority is to create a safe, trusting therapeutic environment where clients feel supported at every step. Healing from trauma is a deeply personal process, and I move at a pace that respects each individual’s needs while focusing on restoring a sense of safety, control, and hope.
