(she/her)
Are you a woman or man in your 30s or 40s feeling overwhelmed by work, parenting, or life changes? I am a psychotherapist who helps women navigate midlife transitions, manage anxiety, and reclaim confidence and balance. Having personally experienced the challenges of motherhood, demanding career, and divorce, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to our work together. I integrate EMDR to process past experiences and reduce emotional distress, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to guide you toward a meaningful life, and values-based strategies to clarify what truly matters to you. I also use the Enneagram as a tool for self-awareness and understanding relational patterns. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies for stress management, self-discovery, and creating the life you truly want—whether that means thriving in your career, strengthening relationships, or finding more peace in your everyday life.
Most clients describe me as pragmatic, authentic, and humorous—someone who keeps it real while helping you navigate life’s challenges. In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s on your mind, explore your goals, and figure out which tools—EMDR, ACT, values work, the Enneagram or other evidence based modalities —fit you best. With clarity, practical steps, and a sense of what therapy can feel like: supportive, empowering, and yes, sometimes a little fun along the way.
Empathy & Lived Experience: I understand firsthand the challenges of motherhood, career pressures, and life transitions, which allows me to connect deeply with clients. Pragmatic Guidance: I provide actionable strategies that fit real life, not just theory. Evidence-Based Expertise: Skilled in EMDR, ACT, values-based work, and the Enneagram, tailoring tools to your unique needs. Warm, Approachable Style: Clients describe me as compassionate, relatable, and occasionally humorous—making therapy both supportive and engaging. Clarity & Empowerment: I help clients gain insight, make decisions with confidence, and create meaningful change in their lives.
I work best with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, work stress, relationship challenges, parenting or co-parenting issues, and the weight of burnout or overwhelm. If life feels heavy or stuck, I offer grounded support and practical strategies to help you move forward with clarity and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with CBT spans many years, and I have witnessed its transformative power firsthand. By collaboratively exploring your thoughts and behaviors, we can uncover underlying beliefs and patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties. Together, we'll work to develop practical strategies and skills to manage challenges more effectively and promote lasting change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or other concerns, CBT offers a structured and evidence-based approach to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
My approach to Solution-Focused Therapy involves collaborative goal-setting and exploring solutions that are practical and achievable. Together, we'll focus on identifying your strengths, successes, and resources, while also acknowledging and addressing any obstacles or barriers that may be present.
