New to Grow
I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be real, feel supported, and grow at their own pace. As a High School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor, I've spent the past 5 + years supporting adolescents and adults through life's transitions, challenges, and self-discovery. In our work together, I'm not just your therapist, but also your biggest supporter. I'll challenge you when needed, celebrate your wins (big and small), and create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Outside of sessions, I love trying different workout classes - right now, Pilates is my favorite. It helps me stay grounded and reminds me how important it is to take care of both mind and body - something I truly believe in for the people, I work with too. I'm looking forward to connecting with you for a safe place to slow down!
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know you - your experiences, strengths, hobbies, careers, and what brings you to therapy. My priority for the first session is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable expressing your true thoughts and emotions. I'll also ask about your past experiences with therapy so that we can sort out what does and does not work for you. After our first session, you will leave feeling heard, calm, supported, and empowered.
My greatest strength is leading with empathy. I'm able to sit with my clients through heavy emotions and help them process at their own pace, without pressure or expectation. Clients have reported that they feel comfortable opening up because they know they'll be met with compassion, empathy, and honesty.
I love working with clients who are ready to invest in themselves, even if things feel messy or uncertain right now. You might be dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, significant life transition, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. In our space, you don't need to have everything figured out - just a willingness to show up and explore. Many of my clients are looking for a space where they can be honest, gain clarity, and build confidence in who they are. If any of this sounds like you, reach out, and together, we can create the space for you to become the person you've always wanted to be. Wherever you are in your journey, there is always room for healing, hope, and new beginnings.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we examine the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work toward building healthier, more adaptive responses to life's challenges.
Grief Therapy
I support clients unconditionally in processing loss at their own pace by creating a safe, compassionate space to explore the complex emotions that follows grief. My approach honors each individual's unique grief experience while helping them find meaning, build resilience, and adjust to life after loss.
Strength-Based
I focus on identifying and building upon each client's existing strengths, skills, and resilience. By highlight what is already working, I help clients develop confidence, foster self-efficacy, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
At all times, my approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I work collaboratively with clients, trusting their capacity for growth and self-understanding. My #1 priority is provide a supportive environment where all of my clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
