Welcome! My practice is all about supporting adults and teens navigating some of life's most challenging and formative years. I became a therapist because I genuinely care about helping people make sense of what they’re going through—especially during the times in life that feel confusing, overwhelming, or just really heavy. Let's be honest, Adult-ing is hard and Adolescence isn't a walk in the park either! I work with clients experiencing a mix of pressures - academic stress, changing relationships, career confusion, questions about identity, purpose and uncertainty about the future. During these times it's easy to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, anxious or depressed. If you are struggling with any of these life challenges, you don't have to figure them out alone. I'm here to listen and walk along side you! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over eight years of experience working with clients of various backgrounds to overcome their anxious thoughts and deep sadness. I use a person-centered approach and create a warm accepting environment so that you have a safe space to be yourself. I look forward to helping you heal, grow and feel in control of your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, inviting and judgement-free space where I will get to know more about you and what brought you into therapy. I promise I won't ask you a million questions or pressure you to share more than you feel ready to. I want to hear your story when you're ready to tell it. With this time, we'll establish a trusting relationship that we'll build on in each session that follows. We'll discuss your goals and any questions you have about the therapeutic process and put a plan together that will help you build your confidence and find peace in your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I create a relaxed environment where clients can lay down whatever burdens they've been carrying all week. While my Person-Centered approach is always at the heart of each session, I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills for clients that can benefit from more tangible strategies. What my clients need is all that matters, so I make sure to actively listen to what they are struggling with or searching for and provide the proper care. I have seen many clients achieve their goals over the years and I've also seen clients return when they've encountered new challenges or noticed past symptoms resurfacing. I'm here to support and empathize with you in what ever stage of life you're working through!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions—basically, all the stuff no one really prepares you for. Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest, figure things out at your own pace, and not feel judged or “analyzed.” Just real conversations that actually help. The clients I work with are experiencing anxiety, depression and low self-esteem, all while trying to manage their emotions and maintain relationships with loved ones. I work well with clients that are in search of a safe space to be heard and understood in order to work towards personal growth.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that everyone deserves to feel heard. Using a Person-Centered approach, I focus on building a genuine and trusting relationship with each client. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel accepted, respected and empowered to explore openly and honestly.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

A lot of people feel like they should be able to fix things on their own but anxiety and depression aren’t things you can simply think your way out of. I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach to support clients that are experiencing anxiety or depression stemming from distorted thought patterns. I work with my clients to uncover the patterns that are keeping them stuck and then we work together to replace them with more realistic, positive thought patterns.

Christian Counseling

Whether you feel strong in your faith, disconnected from it, or somewhere in between—this is a space where you can be honest. We can explore how your beliefs connect to what you’re going through or work through guilt, shame, or feeling like you’re “not enough” spiritually. I'm open to incorporating prayer or faith-based perspectives to help you rebuild a sense of peace, trust, and direction. There’s no expectation—you get to decide how much your faith is part of the process.
