Hello. My name is Deborah. I live in California , where I received my masters degree in social work. I worked in Medical Social work for 14 years. During that time, I had the opportunity to assist clients and families during their times of crisis, stress, transition and loss. At Grow, I see adults and seniors. I appreciate that I can assist clients in times when they need support.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with your goal in therapy, your expectations. From there, I will gather your history and current symptoms, and details of the challenges you are facing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Sometimes it is just about support, listening, and validating a person's experience. It is about caring, empathizing and helping clients to believe that they can get through it.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with older adults as they face transitions in their lives. Clients may not have had the guidance early on on how to manage their feelings or express them. In addition on how to maneuver through life's stressors.
