Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed to practice in various states. I have experience working in a variety of mental health settings and have found my passion working as an outpatient therapist. In our work together you can expect to be met with a therapeutic alliance that promotes safety, empathy, compassion, and value, as a human being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session will be focused on getting to know each other. I will have questions for you which will help me determine if I can help you with your presenting concerns. This will also allow me to determine what a good plan for us going forward could look like. It is also important to me that you have a chance to ask any questions you may have for me in regards to our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I often hear from clients that they feel heard, understood and that I am easy to talk to. I am honored to hear this from current and past clients. I believe this to be a strength and I hope to bring this into work with future clients.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people who are navigating through tough life events and are feeling stuck or lost. It is also my pleasure to work with those who are wanting to learn more about themselves and take steps toward change.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

In my experience as a therapist, I have found it to be beneficial to incorporate different treatment modalities into my work with clients. To promote healing and personal growth, I use a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities. Treatment modalities I may use, include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Person-centered, Strength-Based, and Trauma Informed Care. Interventions used are carefully assessed and considered based on presenting issues and client needs.
