Hello, my name is Ashley Warren, and I am a licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my degree from Louisiana State University and have gained extensive experience working with adolescents and adults over several years. My primary focus is on providing support to individuals as they navigate through challenging life phases, grapple with identity issues, address low self-esteem, and cope with trauma. Additionally, I specialize in helping individuals struggling with family conflicts, providing a safe, supportive environment to explore and address their concerns. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based techniques to ensure that my clients receive the highest quality of care.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I will introduce myself and explain my approach to therapy and the therapeutic process I follow. We will take the time to thoroughly explore your background, who you are today, and your journey ahead in life. I encourage you to ask any questions during this session, as this can help build trust and rapport between us. I believe in taking the time necessary to develop the therapeutic relationship and to achieve meaningful outcomes. My aim is to get to know you fully and completely.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I derive strength from my ability to remain patient and provide support to people who require it. As a therapist, I believe that my strengths lie in my capacity to listen intently, understand the unique perspective of each individual, and empathize with them. Rather than relying solely on interventions or therapeutic tools, I prioritize building a strong connection with my clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to discover their true selves and regain control of their futures. If you are facing challenges such as identity struggles, life conflicts, trauma, or stress, I can see the weight you carry. I work with military members, first responders, healthcare professionals, frontline workers, and everyday people — who often place others' needs before their own. I serve those who serve others. I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate your path to healing and growth. I work with individuals ready to heal, grow, and make real changes. I create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself, unpack your struggles, and take practical steps forward. My approach combines real-life problem-solving with emotional support, ensuring you not only feel heard but also equipped with practical tools. I specialize in helping people work through: *Family Conflict – healing relationships and finding healthier ways to connect. *Dissociative Disorders – understanding and managing disconnection from self or reality. *Emotional Struggles – learning to regulate feelings and build resilience. *Trauma & Stress – processing and healing from difficult experiences. *Identity & Self-Exploration – discovering who you are and who you want to be. *Self-Esteem & Empowerment – building confidence and learning to own your worth.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

We must work together towards achieving a complete harmony where physical, mental, and emotional health are in sync. Using a humanistic approach, we will thoroughly review all aspects of your wellness. A holistic approach to your health will be vital to achieving this goal. Please let me know how I can assist you in your journey towards optimal wellness.

EMDR

Bilateral stimulation, like moving your eyes from side to side, helps the brain process traumatic memories safely. This can reduce the emotional intensity and vividness of those memories. The goal is to allow the brain to heal naturally.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Cognitive behavioral techniques can help modify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors. This therapy challenges negative thoughts and feelings and reorganizes thinking for better mental health.

I adore how open and honest about my feelings and experiences i can be without feeling judged or small minded. It is refreshing to know that even when I don't feel as though when she is correcting me i am in the wrong but just need a little guidance to get me to the right frame of mind.
