Dalaise Hickey
I'm Dalaise Hickey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, based in Connecticut. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2008 and have over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families.
Prior to moving to Connecticut, I worked in New York City as a social worker representing youth and families involved in the criminal justice and child welfare systems.

First session
During our first session, we will meet to help learn more about the challenges you are facing and get to know you a bit more as well as make sure I am a good fit for you. This is a great time to ask questions and share more about your history. From there, we will identify goals you would like to work on.
Strengths
My ability to think outside the box when helping clients achieve their goals. I don't believe in a one size fits all approach and use a variety of therapeutic modalities while working together including cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Ideal clients
I primarily work with individuals aged 17 and older . While I welcome all clients, my specialization is in supporting women, I work with all clients, particularly in navigating anxiety, depression and life transitions.
