(she/her)
As both a veteran and a therapist, I bring a grounded, heartfelt approach to the work I do. I specialize in supporting women who are navigating the lasting impacts of trauma, as well as those struggling with anxiety—including chronic worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, and specific phobias. I truly believe that healing happens most powerfully when we care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. That’s why I often weave in nature-based practices, walking or running therapy, and conversations around nutrition and wellness. I’ve witnessed the incredible clarity and calm that can come from connecting with animals, moving the body, and simply spending time outdoors—especially when life feels heavy or overwhelming. In our work together, I draw from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and mindfulness practices. These approaches help us get to the root of anxiety and trauma, while also giving you the tools to feel more steady, present, and in control. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. My hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling more understood, more empowered, and more equipped to move forward—with confidence, strength, and a renewed sense of self.
I know that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, even a little intimidating, especially if it’s your first time or if you’ve had difficult experiences in the past. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported—where you can show up just as you are. We'll begin by getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share a bit about what’s been going on in your life and what’s bringing you to therapy right now, but we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There’s no rush—you’re in control of what you share, and how much. My role is to listen with care and curiosity, without judgment, so I can begin to understand the unique story, strengths, and challenges you’re bringing into the room. Throughout our conversation, I may ask some gentle questions to help guide us—about your history, your current struggles, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. This helps me get a fuller picture of your experiences so I can support you in a way that feels personalized and meaningful. Together, we’ll begin to explore what your goals might look like—whether that’s feeling less overwhelmed, healing from past pain, navigating relationships, or simply finding a bit more peace in your day-to-day life. We’ll collaborate on a plan that feels supportive and flexible, so you always feel empowered and involved in your own healing journey. Most importantly, this first session is about creating a foundation. It’s the beginning of a relationship that’s rooted in compassion, honesty, and mutual respect. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling a little more understood, a little more hopeful, and reassured that you don’t have to carry everything on your own. Therapy is a process, and it unfolds one step at a time. This first step is about showing up—and I’m honored to meet you there.
With over eight years of experience working with children, teens, and adults, I specialize in women’s mental health—supporting individuals who are navigating life’s challenges with quiet strength, resilience, and courage, even in moments when those qualities may feel out of reach. I firmly believe that meaningful change begins with understanding your unique story—your values, your struggles, your strengths—and honoring what matters most to you! My therapeutic style is warm, down-to-earth, and relational. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely supported, safe, and understood, while also encouraging growth beyond patterns that may no longer serve you. I value authenticity and connection in the therapy room, and I bring a thoughtful balance of empathy, insight, and—when it fits—a sense of humor, because healing can hold space for lightness too. In our work together, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs and goals. I frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support you in living more fully in alignment with your values—even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. For clients working through trauma, I offer a trauma-informed approach, integrating techniques from Narrative Therapy, Parts Work/Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed practices, and somatic awareness. These methods support safe, gentle processing of painful experiences while helping you reconnect with your inner strength, resilience, and sense of self. I also weave in mindfulness-based strategies and self-compassion practices, which can be especially powerful tools in managing anxiety, stress, and self-criticism. These approaches help you slow down, turn inward with greater awareness, and respond to yourself with kindness and clarity—skills that often ripple into all areas of life. Whether you’re facing anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, or a general sense of disconnection, I’m here to support you in moving toward greater emotional balance, deeper self-awareness, and meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll build practical tools and insights that help life feel more manageable, purposeful, and aligned with the person you’re becoming. Ultimately, my goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, empowered, and connected to your most authentic self. Therapy isn’t about becoming
Hi there—and truly, welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Reaching out for support takes real courage, especially when you’ve been holding so much on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply worn down from trying to keep everything together, please know—you’re not alone. Just being here is a meaningful step toward something gentler, and I want to honor that. I work with women, veterans, adults, and teens who’ve experienced trauma or are moving through some of life’s most difficult seasons. Many of the people I support have faced deep, complex struggles—grief, loss, painful relationships, major life changes, or the invisible wounds of service. Often, they’ve had to be strong for everyone else, even when they felt anything but strong inside. If any of that sounds familiar, I want you to know: there is hope, and there is help. Healing doesn’t mean having it all figured out or rushing to feel “better.” It means giving yourself permission to slow down, to be real, to breathe again. It means finding a space where you can start to come home to yourself—gently, one step at a time. In our work together, my intention is to create that kind of space. A soft, steady place where you can bring whatever you’re holding—without shame, without pressure. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, identity shifts, or relationship pain, we’ll move at your pace, honoring your rhythm and your readiness. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. I draw from evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and interpersonal therapy, and I also invite in holistic practices—like movement, nature, and body awareness—when they feel nourishing for you. Healing is more than talking; it’s about tending to the whole of who you are: mind, body, and spirit. Most importantly, I want you to know—you are not broken. You don’t need fixing. You are human, and worthy, exactly as you are. Together, we’ll gently uncover your resilience, reconnect with your inner truth, and explore what it means to live in a way that feels more peaceful, empowered, and real. You don’t have to carry this alone anymore. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here—ready to walk alongside you, with care, warmth, and respect every step of the way.
I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a supportive and collaborative approach that helps you navigate life’s challenges by gently exploring and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT is a practical, empowering method that focuses on building real-life strategies you can use every day—both in and outside of therapy. Together, we’ll work to understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, so you can feel more confident, resilient, and in control of your well-being.
With over five years of experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I specialize in helping people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggle in relationships, or just want better tools to handle life’s ups and downs. DBT is a powerful blend of acceptance and change, and in our work together, I’ll offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and empowered. You’ll learn practical, everyday skills to help you manage stress, communicate more effectively, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a gentle, evidence-based approach that supports children, teens, and their caregivers in healing from the effects of trauma. TF-CBT provides a safe and nurturing space where young people can begin to process what they’ve been through, better understand their emotions, and learn healthy, effective ways to cope. This approach combines practical tools from cognitive behavioral therapy with gradual, supportive steps to reduce symptoms like anxiety, sadness, fear, and behavioral challenges. I work closely with both children and their caregivers—because healing happens best together—to help foster resilience, emotional growth, and lasting well-being.
I offer Strength-Based Therapy, a supportive and empowering approach that focuses on what makes you strong, not just what’s been difficult. Together, we’ll explore your resilience, your inner resources, and the ways you’ve already grown through life’s challenges—often more than you realize. Instead of focusing on what’s “wrong,” we’ll look at what’s right and build from there. This kind of therapy helps you reconnect with your sense of identity, confidence, and purpose, offering a fresh and hopeful path toward healing and lasting change.
