Hello! I am licensed social worker serving clients throughout the state of Michigan. I graduated with my MSW from Grand Valley State University in 2013. I have worked within the foster care system, provided wraparound services for troubled youth, worked with those experiencing homelessness and with Veterans and their caregivers. I work with youth and adults on developing positive coping skills, short and long-term goals to address anxiety, depression, life changes, stress management and other mental health concerns.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we’ll become acquainted with each other and discuss the challenges that you’re currently facing and what goals you’re looking to establish. This will allow me to create an outlined plan for us to work through during future sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I have educated myself on different therapeutic tools that I can implement and customize for clients depending on their needs and goals.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I enjoy working with clients who are open to trying new things. Sometimes we find ourselves going around in circles and find it hard to make the right changes to address our problems. My clients are open, eager to make changes and are looking for tools to be their best selves. Oftentimes they are experiencing anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed and stuck.
