As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and understanding. I partner with clients to explore patterns, build coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My work is informed by trauma-informed care and a holistic perspective that honors each client’s lived experience. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with their values.
The first session is a space for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, background, and goals, and you’re always welcome to share at your own pace. We’ll also review important information such as confidentiality, boundaries, and how therapy works, and I’ll answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll begin identifying areas of focus and discussing next steps. You do not need to have everything figured out—this session is about creating clarity, comfort, and a foundation for meaningful work moving forward.
I create a safe, affirming therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that recognizes how past experiences and ongoing stress shape the present without defining who someone is. I balance clinical intuition with structure, offering both emotional support and practical, evidence-based tools. I work collaboratively with clients—particularly those who appear high-functioning yet feel overwhelmed or stuck—to build insight, resilience, and healthier ways of coping while supporting meaningful, sustainable change.
I like working with individuals of all backgrounds and who are looking for a safe and affirming therapeutic space to feel seen, heard and respected. My ideal client is someone who is ready to create meaningful change in their life, even if they’re not sure where to start. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or the impact of past trauma, and are seeking practical tools to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Tosha the kind of therapist you hope to find. Warm, authentic, and genuinely present in every session. Even when I log-in overwhelmed with anxiety, she has a way of making everything feel more manageable. I always leave lighter and more grounded than when I arrived. She's never judgmental, always kind, and truly invested in how I'm doing. If you're looking for someone real and good at what they do, I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Tosha!
