Dealing with life struggles can be overwhelming and at times it can be exhausting. Life stressors and impactful situations can greatly affect our mental well-being and as a result, affect our physical health in the process. Having the necessary and proper tools to work through those issues are essential to better one's life. By providing you with a compassionate and nonjudgmental space, I can help you feel safe and provide the support you need as you explore your inner self and work toward healing and growth. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy models to help individuals change the view of their struggles to obtain favorable changes. Changing your thought process can help you realize and understand you have power in your hands to make great changes and in turn obtain more desirable results.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we will dive into the specifics challenges you are currently facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work during your journey in therapy.
I primarily work with clients experiencing grief, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. While I often use and believe in the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral interventions I also utilize a holistic and eclectic approach; meaning I draw from a variety of skills and techniques of different models to best meet your needs.
I enjoy working with individuals that are committed in working towards their goals. My clients have a strong desire for change and improvement, they are looking for the right tools and skills to make their goals a reality.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I am able to help my client change their unhelpful thought process to a more helpful and mindful state of mind. Challenging their maladaptive ore beliefs and distortions into a healthier way of thinking and feeling and in turn have positive behaviors.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
This treatment model allows me to meet the client where they're at. To be kind and empathetic to their needs while acknowledging their feelings and thoughts , utilizing gentle confrontation to challenge unhelpful behaviors and thoughts.
Trauma-Focused CBT
In utilizing Trauma-Focused CBT, I am able to assist my client in processing trauma experiences. To be able to help them heal and restore to their previous level of functioning and reduce their distress levels.
Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation in an integral part of many treatment models. Utilizing this treatment model can help the client learn, implement and practice what was learned in session, outside of the therapy setting. I like to teach my client meaningful skills and impart information to help them feel empowered and knowledgeable.
