Tiffani Wiles
I love to help others reach their full potential by creating a supportive and comfortable space to be yourself and not have to perform. My specialty and experience aligns most with helping ages 18-65 with various life situations and I also see first responders and veterans.
I provide a laid back atmosphere where we work together at your pace and establish goals and plans.
I believe in self-discovery with the understanding that learning and growth is not easy, but it is important. With over 15 years of counseling experience, my counseling style is a mix of humor, encouragement and a nonjudgmental positive empowering space. I provide a laid back atmosphere where we work together at your pace and establish goals and plans.
Strengths
I am trained in EMDR, TFCBT and DBT skills. I have experience and training in supporting those with marriage conflict, family conflict, child abuse history, gang history, human trafficking, SA history, DV history, complex trauma, anxiety, postpartum, and the challenges of both new and seasoned motherhood.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are open to try something new if we talk about it first together. They want to join me in creating goals and achieving them. It’s ok if you don’t know what goals at first because we can figure it out together. Clients can ask questions, share what feels comfortable. You cannot mess therapy up and I always say this to my clients. This is your therapy.
Origin story
While serving in the military I was fortunate to meet people from many different countries and from all walks of life. I was curious about their stories and found a love for listening to anything they wanted to share. A few years later I became a case manager and served children, teens and families through adoption services and by connecting them with resources they needed. I realized I wanted to grow into a counselor role and continue with education when it became difficult to find therapy services for individuals in need.
Treatment methods
Trauma-Informed Care
Each individual may have a history of trauma, shaping environments to be supportive regardless of whether a trauma history is known. Promotes healing environments, reduces re-traumatization, and supports resilience and growth.
