(she/her)
Dear future client, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Kentucky. I received my master's from the University of Louisville and have been practicing for 9 years. I work alongside adults to assist in managing strong emotions to support mental wellness. Adults who need support while learning ways to cope. A space to process unhealthy attachments and traumatic experiences.
In our first session we will review your intake as I asses your history and goals. I will provide a safe space for you to ask all questions needed for you to become comfortable with me. I believe in first building trust and rapport with clients as trust is imperative to a therapeutic relationship. We will discuss goals that you have for your mental health and over-all well-being.
I feel my greatest strength is my empathetic nature to the next person's experiences and struggles. This strength allows me to be understanding of my client and their needs. It has naturally equipped me to assist clients in their healing and achievement of their mental health goals.
I enjoy working with adults who experience emotions/feelings intensely such as Anxiety or Depression, and Shame or Guilt. Obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behaviors. Adults who have experienced trauma and would like support with healthier responses. I enjoy working alongside client's while they learn new ways to cope. I provide a safe space to process unhealthy attachments that shape who we are.
