Katrina Green
Hi, I’m Katrina, a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C). I work with adults and young adults who may be navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, or simply trying to figure out what comes next. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and work toward meaningful change without feeling judged or talked down to.
First session
My goal is for clients to leave their first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more comfortable with the therapy process. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to get from it, and what feels most important to address. You’ll have space to share at your own pace while we begin identifying goals and figuring out how I can best support you.
Strengths
I bring warmth, empathy, honesty, and a judgment-free approach to my sessions. I’m able to meet clients where they are while also gently challenging them when it’s helpful. I want clients to feel comfortable being honest, but I also want therapy to be a space where we actually make progress. I use evidence-based approaches while keeping sessions conversational, practical, and focused on the individual person—not just a diagnosis.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is an adult or young adult who may be navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, school or work challenges, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. They are open to learning more about themselves and want therapy to be a space where they can be honest, feel understood, and develop practical tools for moving forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
Origin story
My path to becoming a therapist grew from my interest in understanding people, their experiences, and the challenges that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. I’ve always valued being someone others can talk to without judgment, and social work gave me the opportunity to turn that into meaningful work helping people navigate difficult seasons and create change.
Ongoing work together
Our work together will be collaborative and individualized. As we continue, we’ll build on the goals we identify while exploring patterns, thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be affecting your day-to-day life. Sessions may include reflection, skill-building, coping strategies, and practical tools you can use outside of therapy. We’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work as your needs and goals change.
Treatment methods
Person-centered (Rogerian)
use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can be open about their experiences. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively with them to identify their goals, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
