New to Grow
Hi, I’m Donique. I’m really glad you stopped by. If you’re here, life may have been feeling heavier than usual. Maybe you’ve been carrying more than you let people see. Maybe you’ve been showing up for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself. Or maybe you’re just tired of feeling the way you’ve been feeling and you’re ready for something to change. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who’s had the privilege of supporting people through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. One thing I’ve learned is that: therapy helps and healing is possible. I’ll ask questions that make you think, help you recognize patterns you may not have noticed, and remind you of strengths you may have forgotten you had. My goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life. It’s to help you understand yourself well enough to make decisions that feel right for you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, I am happy to help you become happier, wiser, and more equipped to handle hard things. I’m here whenever you are ready.
There is no pressure to have the “right” words or tell me your entire life story during our first session. We’ll start where you are. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been feeling heavy, and what you hope will be different. My job isn’t to judge you, it’s to understand you. Together, we’ll begin identifying what’s working, what isn’t, and create a plan that fits your life. I want you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful that things can get better.
I believe people are capable of change. Sometimes life convinces us that we are who we are and I don’t believe that. Let’s celebrate your progress, be honest about the places where growth is needed, and build skills that you can actually use in your everyday life.. I believe therapy should help you understand yourself, not judge yourself.
My ideal client is someone who’s tired of carrying so much on their own. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or a major life transition. Some have spent years putting everyone else first. Others are simply trying to make it through each day while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. They don’t need to have everything figured out; they just need to be willing to show up. If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen with compassion, challenge you with care, and help you build practical tools for lasting change, we’ll likely be a good fit.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem and replace them with healthier ways of thinking and responding. My goal is to help you develop practical skills you can use long after therapy ends.
Christian Counseling
For clients who desire it, I integrate faith into therapy in a way that honors both biblical principles and evidence-based clinical practice. Your faith can be a source of healing, hope, and resilience, but I will never impose my beliefs. Whether we’re discussing prayer, Scripture, or spiritual struggles, we’ll incorporate your faith only if it’s meaningful to you.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Trauma can change the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. I help clients process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe while learning healthy coping skills to reduce the emotional impact of trauma. Together, we’ll work toward healing without allowing your past to define your future.
Motivational Interviewing
Rather than telling you what to do, I help you discover your own motivation for change. We’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, strengthen your confidence, and identify realistic steps toward the life you want.
