First session

In our first session together we will work through assessment in order to determine your reason for seeking therapy as well as to build a rapport about your background and needs.

Strengths

My biggest strength is that I am compassionate and strive to meet the individual where they are in life. I have provided therapy for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental health and substance use.

My ideal client is someone who is open-minded and willing to try new ideas in order to become a better version on themselves in all aspects of their life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies. These strategies are designed to bring about immediate positive changes in your quality of life. CBT can be good for anyone who needs support to challenge unhelpful thoughts that are preventing them from reaching their goals or living the life they want to live.

Motivational Interviewing

I have been utilizing Motivational Interviewing for 9 years as an essential tool to assist with promoting change in substance use behavior through autonomy.
