Walking through trauma, loss, or life transitions can feel deeply isolating, but you do not have to carry it alone.

As your practitioner, I am committed to guiding you through a collaborative therapeutic process that respects your lived experiences and fosters lasting resilience.

First session

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you will never be left guessing. After your very first session with me, my goal is for you to leave our time feeling: • Deeply Heard and Validated: You will know that your story was received with profound respect, complete open-mindedness, and zero judgment. • Grounded and Safe: Even if we touch on heavy topics like grief, trauma, or anxiety, you will feel emotionally safe and securely anchored before we wrap up. • A Sense of Relief: The heavy burden you’ve been carrying alone will feel just a little bit lighter simply because it has been shared with someone who understands. • Hopeful for the Future: You will leave with a clear, collaborative understanding of our next steps and a genuine sense of direction for your healing journey. • Equipped with Insight: You will have a clear sense of how our solution-focused partnership works and what your active path toward wholeness looks like.

Strengths

I offer an open-minded, warm, and collaborative environment where your voice is valued as the expert of your own life. My practice is grounded in behavioral-based and solution-focused methods, meaning we won't just talk about your struggles—we will actively work together to build practical tools, shift habits, and focus on tangible steps toward the future you want. Together, we will honor your story, tend to your roots, and construct a meaningful, resilient path forward.

Ideal clients

My private practice is dedicated to providing a safe, honoring space for adults aged 18 and older across all stages of life. We specialize in supporting women, veterans, and individuals navigating grief, and anxiety,. Walking through trauma, mental health challenges, or major life transitions can feel deeply isolating, but you do not have to carry it alone. My professional mission is to provide the specialized support, evidence-based care, and dedicated guidance necessary to help individuals experience their truue selves.

Origin story

My path to becoming a therapist was paved by my own lived experiences. Having walked through the landscapes of trauma and profound grief, I know firsthand how heavy the healing journey can feel, but I also know that restoration is entirely possible. While my personal history gave me the empathy to understand deep emotional pain and the passion to help women heal lasting emotional wounds, it was my 15 years of dedicated work alongside veterans and their families that truly solidified my calling. Witnessing the resilience, unique sacrifices, and deep structural traumas carried by our service members inspired me to create a dedicated space where healing is approached with honor and respect. My goal is to help individuals experience restoration and offer a safe space.

Ongoing work together

Rather than treating each appointment as an isolated conversation, our future sessions will actively build on one another to ensure your momentum is continuous, structured, and meaningful. Every time we meet, we will review the practical behavioral tools or strategies you experimented with between sessions, refining them to seamlessly fit the realities of your daily life. As our clinical relationship grows, we will safely layer in deeper work surrounding your trauma, grief, anxiety, or depression while systematically stacking solution-focused coping skills. Each strategy acts as a permanent building block, allowing you to track your tangible evolution, celebrate your resilience, and actively realize a life of complete wholeness.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

To help you achieve complete wholeness, my practice blends two highly effective, evidence-based methods: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you untangle your patterns. Your thoughts, feelings, and actions are deeply interconnected. When you are navigating trauma, grief, or anxiety it is easy to get trapped in automatic, painful thought patterns that leave you feeling stuck. CBT gives us a professional framework to safely identify these unhelpful thoughts, challenge them, and replace them with healthier, more realistic perspectives. By changing how you process your experiences, you can directly shift how you feel and react to daily stressors.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) clarifies your inner drive. True healing cannot be forced; it has to come from within you. Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, conversational approach that helps you uncover your own personal reasons for wanting change. If you are feeling stuck, ambivalent, or overwhelmed by the effort it takes to heal, MI helps us gently explore those mixed feelings without judgment. It empowers you to connect with your core values, building the internal confidence and momentum you need to take the next step forward.
