Hi, I'm Annie! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over five years of experience in emergency medicine, school-based settings, and supporting diverse communities. I believe therapy is a journey where you're in the driver's seat and I'm alongside you in the passenger seat.

I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and a genuine belief in people's capacity for change.

You're the expert on your own life, and I'm here to help you navigate challenges, explore new perspectives, and develop the tools and confidence to move forward. My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to recognize your strengths, understand patterns, and create meaningful change. Above all, I want therapy to be a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. You don't need to have everything figured out. We'll start wherever you are!

First session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. I'll ask you to share what brings you to therapy, what challenges you're experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There's no pressure to share everything at once or have the perfect words to describe how you're feeling. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, while beginning to explore your goals and what support might look like. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.

Strengths

I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and a genuine belief in people's capacity for change. My experience in emergency medicine has taught me how to sit with people through life's most difficult moments, offering compassion, patience, and a nonjudgmental space. I believe therapy should be more than a place to talk about what's difficult. It should also be a space to discover what's possible. I balance empathy and validation with thoughtful questions, gentle challenges, and practical tools to help you move forward. My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and solution-focused. I'll meet you where you are, celebrate your progress, and encourage you to recognize strengths you may not see in yourself. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling not only understood, but empowered to navigate whatever comes next.

Ideal clients

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, interpersonal conflicts, stress, and life transitions. Whether you're processing past experiences, adjusting to change, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can offer a space to gain clarity, explore new perspectives, and develop healthier coping strategies. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build practical tools, and work toward meaningful change, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

Treatment methods

Trauma-Informed Care

After your initial session and once we clarify your therapy goals, we will explore different evidence based treatment models and see which might be a best fit for you. I am skilled in trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, supportive psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We will work together to discover what matters most to you. I believe meaningful change comes from within, and my role is to help you recognize your strengths, work through uncertainty, and build the confidence to take steps toward your goals.
