About me

I enjoy using humor in therapy. I feel that the client can be more relaxed with using this type of talk therapy. I was a nurse before I became a clinician and use some of my medical knowledge in your sessions. As a client you can decide how much or how little we focus on each topic. You are in charge of the sessions. I am here to help you balance your life and wishes.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I do hope that after your first session in therapy, you will write a list or remember some of the issues you would like to discuss. This will help in your following sessions , what will work for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In the first session we can discuss what you are having some difficulty with. We can then start to work on the items that you feel are holding you back in life. I use CBT (cognitive behavior therapy ) and I will give homework . Some self care activities and a positive journal. you are the most important person in the session, you can decide when to start and when to stop therapy. Let's get started.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

What part of your life are you in at this time? What are your stressors/concerns? How do you feel about this time of your life? Do you have a medical contition that is causing you stress, a relationship, work place etc. these are things to consider when attending your therapy sessions. this can help us to narrow down how to work with your issues.
