You may be the person everyone depends on — the caregiver, professional, parent, ministry leader, or helper — yet internally you feel emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck. Perhaps you are grieving a loss, navigating burnout, struggling with depression or anxiety, carrying unresolved trauma, or quietly trying to hold everything together while feeling alone inside. I provide emotionally safe, psychologically grounded counseling for adults, adolescents, couples, caregivers, clergy, and high-functioning individuals seeking healing, clarity, and support during difficult seasons of life. As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Catholic priest with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Connecticut, I bring together evidence-based therapy with compassionate human and pastoral insight. For clients who desire it, spirituality and faith can thoughtfully become part of the healing process. For others, therapy may remain fully focused on emotional and psychological care. My approach is compassionate, reflective, practical, and deeply respectful of each client’s background, values, and lived experiences. Together, we work toward helping you: . process grief and emotional pain, . manage anxiety, depression, and stress, . heal from burnout and trauma, . strengthen emotional boundaries, . improve relationships and communication, . reconnect with your sense of identity and peace, . and move toward meaningful and lasting change. You do not have to carry everything alone anymore.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on creating a safe and supportive space where you can begin sharing your story without fear of judgment. We will explore: what has been weighing on you emotionally, what challenges or transitions you are currently facing, what patterns or struggles you would like to better understand, and what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is not to pressure you or rush the process, but to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we begin identifying meaningful paths toward healing and growth together. By the end of the session, you can expect greater clarity about the counseling process and a collaborative plan tailored to your goals and needs. WHAT CLIENTS CAN EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH ME Clients often describe therapy with me as emotionally safe, compassionate, grounded, and reflective. My approach combines evidence-based counseling with practical coping tools, emotional insight, and thoughtful guidance tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Therapy may include helping you: better understand emotional patterns, process unresolved pain, strengthen coping strategies, improve communication and boundaries, reduce emotional overwhelm, and reconnect with a healthier sense of peace, identity, and direction. Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are my compassionate presence, emotional insight, extensive counseling experience, and ability to create a safe environment where clients can explore difficult emotions honestly and without shame. My background in both counseling psychology and pastoral care allows me to support clients with depth, empathy, and respect for the emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of my clients are people who have spent so much time being strong for others that they no longer know how to care for themselves emotionally. They may be grieving, burned out, anxious, emotionally exhausted, spiritually conflicted, or struggling silently while appearing “fine” on the outside. I work especially well with individuals seeking a safe space to process emotional pain, understand unhealthy patterns, strengthen boundaries, reconnect with themselves, and move toward healing, clarity, resilience, and lasting personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and self-defeating behaviors while developing healthier ways of thinking and responding.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use this approach to focus on strengths, resilience, and practical solutions by helping clients build upon what is already working in their lives.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use Mindfulness techniques to help clients become more emotionally grounded, self-aware, and present while reducing stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients learn how to accept difficult emotions without being controlled by them while taking meaningful actions aligned with their values and goals.
