Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Master’s from California State University in 2014 and have been providing therapy to clients ranging in ages from 2-25 to help improve their well-being in all areas of their life. I use a holistic approach, exploring how family, environment, and physical well-being all impact your mental health!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we will discuss brief introductions, and get into what brings you to therapy including specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me build an individualized treatment plan for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with youth, young adults, and families for the past 15+ years, I’ve developed an ability to meet my clients where they are at, and assist in them finding their way to living balanced and fruitful lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with children, teens, and young adults, who are facing challenges with communication or connection. I also enjoy supporting young adults who are facing the world on their own for the first time and need a little extra guidance on this big life transition.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have found CBT to be an effective approach to supporting clients with a wide range of challenges. It includes homework so you can practice what we discuss between sessions. We identify and develop treatment goals together to help you achieve them within the time-limited (typically 12-20 sessions) schedule.

Play Therapy

I have worked with many young children over the years using play therapy and have found it to be extremely effective. Young children often struggle to have the language to identify or explore their own emotions especially around a traumatic event. By using toys and figurines, they often communicate so much through their play.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have experience working with both children and young adults using Trauma-focused CBT. We go at a pace that feels safe for the client to uncover and process their traumatic event.
