You deserve to feel better. If you’ve been feeling stressed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change, you’re not alone - and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Hi, I’m Michelle, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Mindset Coach with over thirty years of experience. I help people feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their emotions. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels like a supportive conversation… one where you can better understand yourself and begin to move forward with clarity. Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we take a closer look at what’s happening beneath the surface. We explore how your thoughts, emotions, and stress responses are connected, and we build tools to help you respond in healthier, more empowering ways. My approach is collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. I combine clinical experience with real-life understanding to help you strengthen your self-awareness, regulate emotions, and create more fulfilling relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll simply start by talking about what brings you here and what you’d like to get out of therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand your background and what’s been feeling difficult or unclear lately, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. You’re welcome to ask questions at any point, too - this is a space for open conversation, not a one-way interview. I’ll guide the process so you can relax into it, and together we’ll begin to get a feel for how we work best as a team. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about where we’re headed. If we meet once and you decide you want to continue with Grow Therapy but would rather work with a different therapist, just say the word. Switching providers is easy to do on this app.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up because our sessions are genuine conversations - honest, thoughtful, and focused on what’s really going on beneath the surface. My role is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find practical ways to create the changes you want in your life. I draw on both my background in psychology and my experience as a mindset coach to bring insight and clarity to our work together. I listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and help you notice patterns that may be hard to see when you’re in the middle of them. Together, we look at what’s getting in your way and explore new ways to move forward feeling more confident and less stressed. One of my greatest strengths is creating a space free of judgment, where all parts of you are welcome. You can bring any aspect of your life - your thoughts, feelings, fears, dreams, or questions - into the conversation. You don’t have to filter or edit yourself here. What matters most is that you feel supported, understood, and capable of making real, lasting change. Therapy isn’t just about processing; it’s about growing into the version of yourself that feels balanced, confident, and at peace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with thoughtful, growth-minded adults who value both inner peace and meaningful achievement. If that sounds like you, you might be feeling held back by emotional patterns that interfere with your sense of calm, productivity, or connection with others. In our work together, we’ll look at what’s really going on beneath the surface, identifying blind spots, loosening old response habits, and strengthening mindset, so you can move through life and relationships with greater clarity, confidence, and ease.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

Eclectic means a little bit of everything. I like to think of it as the best of many things. In therapy, eclectic means utilizing the wisdom of different theoretical approaches, which for me includes Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Attachment-Based, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Couples Counseling, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Humanistic, Integrative, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Interpersonal, Jungian, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered (Rogerian), Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Brief Treatment, Strengths-Based, Supportive, and Transpersonal, all depending upon the circumstances and needs of the client.
