Welcome to your first step into a new therapeutic journey. I aim to create a safe, compassionate therapeutic environment that allows you to explore strengths and empower you to have more control over your life. I have helped clients gain new skills and explore experiences that can get in the way of their current happiness. Whether they are struggling with depression, anxiety, identity, and/or relationships, I focus on helping clients feel happier and more confident in their everyday lives. After graduating from Northwestern University with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have spent the last four years helping people struggling with acute depression and anxiety symptoms as well as any other symptom that has significantly impacted their lives. I have helped clients make life-changing steps toward recovery to create the lives they want to live.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

For your first session, it is important for me to get to know you. I want to know what brings you to therapy, your hopes for our time together, and what you want to prioritize working on. I hope to create a safe, compassionate environment for you to start feeling comfortable and supported in taking this step towards your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy aims to make you feel in control and confident in yourself by using a collaborative approach that focuses on your strengths to create methods that work for your life. I aim to have an affirming and accepting space that lets all clients be their authentic selves. I help clients become empowered in their authenticity, transform their lives, and break unwanted and unhelpful patterns. One of the ways I do this is by helping clients understand the ways their struggles and relationships are affected by other parts of their identity and their environment (race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, gender-identity).

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You are looking to feel better, more in control of your life, and to have a more positive perspective of yourself and your world. If that sounds like you, I look forward to walking beside you every step of the way. I best serve those who I best serve those who want to feel more in control of their lives by teaching ways to be in the present moment and cope with strong emotions as well as explore new insights about themselves. In addition, I value accountability in our therapeutic relationship and always welcome notes on your journey to healing.
