As an LCSW, I integrate both mindfulness and CBT when working with clients to help improve change outcomes as CBT is geared towards fostering mindset changes by challenging unhelpful patterns of dysfunction and incorporating positive self-talk and thoughts, promoting resilience, self-regulation and lasting emotional growth.
