I believe in being open and transparent, and I bring that same philosophy into my therapy sessions. I view therapy as a partnership built on trust, honesty, and collaboration, with the shared goal of helping you achieve the changes you desire. Therapy is not a one-sided relationship; it is a mutual process in which we learn, grow, and develop together.

My approach is neither aggressive nor passive; instead, I strive to meet each client where they are in their journey, honoring their individual needs, level of awareness, and comfort.

As our therapeutic relationship evolves, so may our goals. Through ongoing conversations and increased self-awareness, we may discover new needs, recognize patterns in our therapeutic dynamic, and gain a deeper understanding of what is most meaningful to you. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel heard, understood, empowered, and actively involved in your own growth.

Strengths

I am genuinely invested in your growth and committed to supporting you throughout your therapeutic journey. I am a therapist who listens with intention, creates space for honest conversations, and isn't afraid to challenge you when necessary. I believe growth requires both support and accountability. My approach is neither aggressive nor passive; instead, I strive to meet each client where they are in their journey, honoring their individual needs, level of awareness, and comfort. I recognize that no two individuals are alike, and therapy should reflect that. My approach is not cookie-cutter. I tailor the therapeutic experience to the person sitting across from me, because your experiences, challenges, and goals deserve an individualized approach.

Ideal clients

“I believe that recognizing when your sense of normalcy no longer feels right is an important first step toward change. Seeking help takes courage, vulnerability, and a willingness to step outside of your comfort zone. It means acknowledging that something needs to change and being open to exploring what that change might look like. To me, that is a client who is taking a chance on themselves—someone willing to do the work, embrace growth, and take steps toward reclaiming their life. You don't have to have everything figured out to begin; you just have to be willing to start.”

Origin story

My journey into the field of therapy was inspired by the people who encouraged, supported, and believed in me along the way. Their support made a meaningful difference in my life, and it helped shape the kind of therapist I aspire to be. I want to be that source of encouragement and support for others. I believe everyone deserves to have someone in their corner—someone who listens without judgment, recognizes their potential, encourages growth, and reminds them of their strength, even when they struggle to see it themselves. Being able to offer that kind of support is what makes this work meaningful to me

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication designed to strengthen a client's own motivation for and commitment to change. Rather than persuading or directing, you act as a guide to help clients resolve their ambivalence.
