I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy is more than managing symptoms...it's about understanding yourself. I bring warmth, humor, authenticity, and thoughtful challenges into a space where you can be human, explore your experiences, and feel genuinely heard.

Healing Begins With Curiosity and Understanding: A Space to Feel Seen, Heard, and Empowered to Grow

I'm naturally curious about the connections between our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and lived experiences. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and honest. I believe in meeting you where you are while helping you discover where you want to grow.

First session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. I'll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, what life has been like recently, and what you're hoping to gain from our work together. We'll explore relevant experiences, relationships, challenges, and strengths while beginning to identify your goals. You don't need to prepare a perfect explanation or share everything at once. I believe in creating a space where you can show up as you are, ask questions, and feel comfortable being yourself. We'll also discuss what therapy with me looks like and determine how we can work together in a way that feels collaborative, supportive, and intentional.

Strengths

I bring empathy, humor, honesty, and thoughtful challenges into the therapy room. I'll meet you with compassion while encouraging curiosity, accountability, and self-reflection. Together, we'll explore patterns, uncover strengths, and turn insight into meaningful change at a pace that honors your journey.

Ideal clients

I enjoy working with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, or simply trying to make sense of themselves and their experiences. You don't have to have everything figured out, know exactly what to say, or even understand why you're struggling. I welcome clients who are curious about themselves, open to exploring patterns, and interested in building a deeper understanding of their emotions, needs, and relationships. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in familiar cycles, we'll work together to uncover what matters to you and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Origin story

I've always been curious about people—not just what they do, but why they do it. I'm fascinated by how our experiences, relationships, environments, and personal narratives shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world. My passion for therapy comes from believing that everyone deserves a space where they can be heard, understood, and supported without having to minimize their experiences or explain away their emotions. I recognize that life can be complicated, healing isn't always linear, and growth often requires us to confront uncomfortable truths. I became a therapist because I wanted to help people make sense of their experiences, reconnect with themselves, and recognize that while their past may have shaped them, it doesn't have to determine their future. For me, therapy isn't about fixing people. It's about helping people understand themselves, discover their strengths, and create lives that feel more authentic, intentional, and fulfilling.

Ongoing work together

Our work together will be collaborative, intentional, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy is an active process that extends beyond our sessions. We'll explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and lived experiences, while identifying patterns that may no longer serve you. Some sessions may focus on processing difficult emotions, exploring past experiences, or simply making space for what you're carrying. Other sessions may involve thoughtful challenges, practical strategies, examining beliefs, or developing new ways of responding to familiar situations. I encourage curiosity, reflection, and the willingness to practice what we're discovering together. Progress isn't always linear, and it doesn't always look like feeling better immediately. Sometimes it looks like recognizing a pattern before repeating it, communicating a need more clearly, setting a boundary, responding to yourself with greater compassion, or making a different choice. We'll revisit your goals regularly, celebrate meaningful shifts, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve. My goal is not for you to become dependent on therapy, but to help you develop the insight, confidence, and tools to navigate life with greater self-awareness and intention.

Treatment methods

Integrative

I use this treatment approach to create a supportive, collaborative, and individualized therapeutic experience. I help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and underlying patterns while developing greater self-awareness and practical coping skills. My approach emphasizes understanding the connection between past experiences and present challenges, identifying strengths, improving emotional regulation, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. I tailor interventions to each client's unique needs, goals, and readiness for growth.
