Origin story
My first inspiration was back in high school taking psychology my junior year. I was so interested in why people do what they do. My teacher Miss Tyler was especially good at teaching all the basics of diagnoses' to self help exercises. My second inspiration for the counseling field is when by parents set up a individual therapy session when they got divorced. I fully benefited from having an objective, caring person to share my feelings and get the support I needed at the time. Truly what keeps me in the field is the true passion to help people understand who they are and more importantly grow to who they want to become. It is an amazing process to be a part of.
