Mickey Lewis
My name is Mickey Lewis. I am a Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol/Drug Counselor. I am a member of the American Association Of Christian Counselors. I obtained my Master’s degree from Western Kentucky University. I have over 36 years of experience working in the field of Mental Health and Substance abuse.
I have over 30 years of experience working in the field of Mental Health and Substance abuse.
My focus in the counseling session is to assist individuals and families to become the best version of themselves that they can be.
First session
In our first session together, we will discuss the process of therapy, complete any unfinished paperwork, discuss my philosophy of treatment, and answer any questions that you may have of me. After that we will explore the life circumstances that brought you into therapy. Finally, we will develop a treatment plan specific to addressing your needs and discuss the direction we will travel to achieve your goals.
Strengths
My greatest strength is my ability to listen and compassionately travel with your toward healing. I strive to be available and focused on only one thing. My client’s happiness.
Ideal clients
My idea client is that person who has had enough of struggling with their problems and are ready to sail toward a journey toward being healthy and happy. This journey won’t be traveled alone! I will be there to assist! Some pain comes from childhood trauma. We will explore those traumas and assist in creating inner healing. This can only be accomplished through a joint venture together.
