Sometimes the hardest part of change is figuring out who you are becoming. Life transitions, particularly during midlife, can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply not like yourself. These seasons do not have to define you. They can be an opportunity to reconnect with who you are and discover what comes next.

Helping Women Find Balance, Confidence & Reconnect With Themselves.

My goal is to provide you with a supportive, nonjudgemental space where you can feel heard, regain confidence, navigate change and create a stronger connection with yourself. You deserve to feel good about the woman you are becoming. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perfectionism, and the emotional challenges of living with chronic health conditions. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, working through ongoing challenges, or simply ready to feel more like yourself again, I would love to help you find your path forward. I invite you to reach out and take that first step.

First session

During our first session, clients can expect to feel welcome, heard, and understood. We will take time to explore what brings them to therapy, what they may be struggling with, what what they hope to gain from our work together. My goal is to help clients begin making connections between their experiences, emotions, and patterns while identifying their strengths and areas where they would like to grow. Clients will leave with a sense of connection, greater understanding, validation, a starting point, hope and direction. You don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. We will start wherever you are and work together to help you move toward where you want to be.

Strengths

I bring compassion, empathy, authenticity, and over 20 years of experience working in behavioral health and healthcare. I have the ability to understand the connection between emotional health, physical health, and life transitions. I strive to create a comfortable environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. I am approachable, collaborative and a caring listener. I help clients recognize patterns, gain perspective, and develop practical tools they can use in everyday life. I value getting to know each person beyond their challenges and helping them recognize their strengths, build confidence and create meaningful change.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is a woman navigating a season of change in her life who may feel disconnected from herself, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or uncertain about who she is becoming. She may be experiencing perimenopause or other hormonal transitions, changes in relationships, shifts in confidence, or challenges with anxiety and emotional regulation. She is ready to better understand herself, explore patterns that may be holding her back, and develop healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. My ideal client is someone who wants more than just symptom relief. She wants to feel understood, regain confidence, develop a stronger sense of self, and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic to who she is today.

Origin story

My decision to become a therapist was shaped by both my personal experiences and my professional journey working in healthcare. Through both, I've come to understand how deeply life's challenges can affect our emotional well-being, confidence, relationships and sense of self. I have also realized how closely related the mind and body are and how when one area is impacted, others are too. These experiences inspired me to create a space where people feel comfortable showing up as they are. I am passionate about helping others recognize their strengths and discover that growth, healing and change are possible at every stage.

Ongoing work together

Clients will know they are making progress when they begin to notice, meaningful changes in how they think, feel, respond, and show up in their everyday lives. Progress isn't always about eliminating difficult emotions or having everything figured out. Sometimes its recognizing how far you've come in the way you handle situations that once felt overwhelming. They begin to notice that they feel more confident in themselves and their decisions, spend less time overthinking, worrying, or being caught in negative thought patterns, respond to stress and difficult emotions with greater awareness and healthier coping strategies, set boundaries without as much guilt, and feel more in control of their choices instead of feeling controlled by their circumstances. Ultimately, progress means feeling more like yourself again; not necessarily the person you were before, but a more confident, self-aware, and empowered version of who you are becoming.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a healthier relationship with thoughts, emotions and life experiences. Rather than trying to eliminate uncomfortable feelings or control every thought, ACT helps clients learn to make room for difficult emotions while focusing on what matters most to them. In my work, I use ACT to help clients: practice acceptance, create distance from thoughts, build emotional flexibility, reconnect with personal values, and take meaningful action. ACT helps clients recognize that they don't have to wait until they feel completely confident, comfortable, or in control to begin living a meaningful life. You do not have to change every thought, fix every feeing, or have everything figured out to move forward. You can learn to make space for life's challenges while still creating a life you love.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I value Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how these patterns influencers the way experience everyday life. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, explore beliefs that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, perfectionism, or self-doubt, and develop practical tools to create healthier ways of thinking and responding. I help clients recognize that while they may not have control over every thought or circumstance, they can learn new ways of thinking, responding, and navigating life's challenges. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves. By combining practical tools with self-compassion, I help clients break unhelpful patterns, build confidence, and feel more empowered in their everyday lives.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) is a specialized, evidence-based form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) that I use when working with clients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related behaviors. ERP helps clients gradually face situations, thoughts, images, or feelings that trigger anxiety or obsessive thinking while learning to resist the urge to engage in compulsions, rituals, or reassurance-seeking behaviors. Together we work to identify triggers, understand the OCD cycle, gradually face fears, build tolerance for uncertainty, and develop confidence.
