About me

Hey there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in California and Massachusetts. I earned my master’s degree from the University of New England, with a focus on Individuals, Families, and Groups, and I bring 13 years of experience working alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting people through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and experiences that have left them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. I particularly enjoy helping people find perspective through the voice of their pain. I believe that pain and discomfort, while often difficult, can also become powerful teachers when we are willing to slow down, listen, and understand what our experiences are trying to tell us. Therapy provides a space to explore those experiences without judgment while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, and move forward. In our work together, we will identify your concerns, explore the patterns and beliefs that may be affecting your well-being, and develop practical strategies that are tailored to your individual needs and goals. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered to become more intentional about the life you want to create. I look forward to walking alongside you as you tend to your heart, discover your strengths, and move toward meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will start with brief introductions, then dive into why you are here. We will also discuss your beliefs about the challenges you are facing and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will then begin to talk about a tailored plan that we will use to help you reach your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over 13 years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups, I’ve developed an effective and compassionate approach to helping clients uncover the limiting beliefs that may be keeping them from reaching their goals. My work focuses on identifying the root causes of recurring patterns and breaking them down in a way that promotes clarity, growth, and measurable progress. I strive to help clients move from feeling stuck to feeling empowered and confident in their ability to create meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to pause, reflect, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the experiences that have shaped their lives. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, or the lingering impact of difficult or painful experiences. I work especially well with individuals who recognize that something in their life needs to change but may feel uncertain about where to begin. You may feel stuck in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by your emotions, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to move forward. You may also be someone who has spent much of your life caring for others and is now ready to prioritize your own emotional well-being. My ideal client is open to exploring not only what is happening in their life, but also how their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and past experiences influence the way they respond to challenges today. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You simply need a willingness to be honest, curious, and open to growth. Together, we will work toward greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, healthier coping strategies, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of confidence and direction. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I believe pain and discomfort, while difficult, can also provide valuable insight when we are willing to listen to what they are trying to teach us. My goal is to help you find perspective through the voice of your pain, transform difficult experiences into opportunities for growth, and ultimately create a life that feels more aligned, meaningful, and authentic to you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I love using the CBT model amongst many other treatment methods such as adlerian theory, the psychodynamic, humanistic and the strength based approach. I specifically enjoy the CBT model because it asks questions that are direct, promoting more focused thinking. Most people don't want to be in therapy forever so CBT is the perfect model to assist with meeting goals and remaining on task. In using CBT over the last 11 years, I've seen individuals gain relief with depression, anxiety and panic disorder, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder. I have enjoyed assisting individuals with the CBT model by way of providing coping tools and techniques that can be used after the session to further support a client in meeting their goals in a manner that is personal to them.

Strength-Based

I use a strength-based approach to help clients identify and build upon the abilities, resources, values, and resilience they already possess. Rather than focusing solely on problems or symptoms, we explore what has helped the client navigate challenges in the past and how those strengths can be applied to their current circumstances. I help clients recognize their progress, develop confidence, and identify practical steps toward their goals.

Humanistic

My humanistic approach centers on creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe each person has the capacity for growth and meaningful change. Sessions focus on increasing self-awareness, exploring emotions and personal experiences, and helping clients develop a stronger connection with their values, needs, and authentic sense of self. I meet clients where they are while collaboratively supporting them in determining the direction of their therapeutic work.

Faith based therapy

When desired by the client, I integrate faith and spirituality into therapy in a respectful and client-centered manner. This may include exploring spiritual beliefs, prayer, scripture, forgiveness, purpose, hope, and the role of faith in coping with difficult experiences. Faith-based counseling is incorporated only when it aligns with the client's beliefs and treatment goals. My approach respects each client's autonomy and spiritual perspective while integrating evidence-informed therapeutic strategies to support emotional and psychological well-being.
