I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and life-changing medical diagnoses. My compassionate and encouraging approach to therapy is founded on the belief that therapy should offer a safe space for introspection and self-discovery. During the first session, I will introduce myself to my clients. I will make certain to discuss standard procedures for scheduling appointments, confidentiality, and communicating between sessions. I will ask my clients lots of questions to learn a bit about their history as well as discover their goals for treatment.
My therapeutic approach draws on the fundamentals of CBT, DBT, IPI, MI and solution-focused therapy. I believe that treatment methodologies are not one size fits all, however, my warmth and empathy are shared with everyone.

I had my first session with Alleña and felt very comfortable with her. She's easy to talk to and has a calming and welcoming presence. I felt heard and understood and am looking forward to continuing therapy with her.

Have been looking for a therapist for a few months, was referred to Dr Perez. I think this was the best choice. Very comfortable talking to her. Even though this was my intake appointment she let me talk. I look forward to this new chapter of therapy.
