Hi! I’m Sasha, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves.

I enjoy helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and emotional challenges while building practical tools to support meaningful growth.

I enjoy helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and emotional challenges while building practical tools to support meaningful growth. My goal is to meet you where you are and remind you that you don’t have to figure everything out alone.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, build rapport, and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. You can expect a judgment-free space where you can talk openly, ask questions, and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We will discuss your goals, explore what support looks like for you, and begin identifying ways to move forward. Most importantly, you don’t have to have the right words or everything figured out. Just show up as you are!

Strengths

One of my biggest strengths is my ability to connect with clients through relatability and authenticity. I bring a down-to-earth, nonjudgmental approach that allows clients to feel comfortable showing up as their true selves. I believe in building genuine connections, meeting clients where they are, and creating a space where honest conversations are welcomed and clients feel understood rather than judged.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are individuals navigating life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, motherhood, self-esteem, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with women and moms who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or like they have lost parts of themselves while caring for everyone else. I welcome clients who are ready to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change. You don’t have to have it all figured out or even know where to start. Just come as you are, and we can figure out the rest together.

Origin story

Growing up, I often wished I had someone I could relate to, someone who understood my experiences and looked like me. That experience inspired me to become the kind of therapist I wish I had growing up. I want others, especially those who may not always feel seen, heard, or understood, to have a safe space where they feel represented, valued, and supported without judgment.

Ongoing work together

Our work together will be a collaborative process focused on your goals, personal growth, and what matters most to you. Sessions may include open conversations, exploring patterns and experiences, learning practical coping skills, and finding healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges. Progress won’t always look like having everything figured out. Sometimes it’s recognizing patterns, setting boundaries, managing emotions differently, or simply feeling more comfortable being yourself. We will celebrate the small wins, work through the difficult moments, and adjust our approach as your needs change.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they impact daily life, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to challenging situations. I incorporate practical strategies and coping skills that clients can use outside of sessions to manage symptoms, build confidence, and create lasting changes.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their own motivation for change while recognizing their strengths, values, and personal goals. Rather than telling clients what they should do, I focus on meeting them where they are, having honest conversations, and helping them identify what changes feel meaningful and realistic to them. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel empowered to make changes at their own pace.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach by helping clients recognize the strengths, abilities, and resources they already possess, even when life feels overwhelming. I believe clients are more than their struggles, and my role is to help them recognize their resilience, build confidence, and identify what is already working. Together, we focus on building upon existing strengths while developing new skills to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
