Do you have struggles conveying your emotions effectively? Hello, my name is Jasmine Broadnax, LCSW. Throughout my career, I have assisted individuals of various age groups and families who have encountered difficulty related to Neurodivergent complexities, trauma, Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and more. Certified in Trauma and Resilience (CTRC) and EMDR trained. My job is to help you overcome negative habits, achieve new goals, and implement change. Allow me to offer you support and empower you with techniques to break old pattern and develop new healthy skills.
During our initial session, we will begin with an intake that involves a short introduction and discussing the issue at hand. Together we will collaborate and identify the core concerns and behaviors that you would like to see change. We would then schedule a follow up for the second session that would involve you and I collectively creating goals and objectives that you would like to work towards.
My biggest strength is listening. Giving you a safe place to express yourself in a free, non-judging atmosphere and empowering you with support throughout your journey.

EMDR
EMDR is incorporated with the use of taking negative emotions/thoughts and help desensitize the emotions with positive cognitions to help eliminate the negative voice behind the emotion/thought.

Jasmine is very comfortable to talk with, and she's very straight forward. What I love about her the most is how solution oriented she is. She walks me through step by step and explains very thoroughly even though we have only met twice I'm very comfortable with her.

Jasmine is like a hug in human form. She makes you feel seen and heard, always validating your experiences and genuinely listening. I never feel judged for how I think or process things. I'm truly thankful to have her as a safe space to sort through my thoughts.
