I have been a licensed counselor for more than twenty five years and have helped clients of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. I have an eclectic and nonjudgmental approach and my goal is to unconditionally support you throughout this process. You are not here by mistake. There is no better time to begin taking steps to improve your life situation.

I am licensed in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida and my counseling practice is entirely online (video and phone). My hours are Monday through Friday, with first appointments starting at 9 AM and last appointments at 5 PM. I use the first session to get to know you better, and from there we can address your issues together.
First session
The first session is about getting to know each other, learning more about your issues, and talking about your counseling goals.
Strengths
I believe my strengths include the ability to actively listen with empathy and unconditional acceptance, provide a balance between the cognitive and emotional realms, and maintain a positive and motivational outlook.
Ideal clients
I prefer clients who are dealing with life events, experiences, interactions, or perceptions that are diminishing quality of life and well-being. People come to therapy for various reasons and with different levels of awareness and insight; however, the only necessary ingredient is a willingness to is to begin working the process one small step at a time. Like any meaningful life change, it requires time and consistency.
