(she/her)
Life isn't always easy, and navigating daily stress, parenting challenges, or major life transitions can feel overwhelming. If you are feeling anxious, stressed, or burdened by everyday tasks, please know that you don't have to carry it alone. Reaching out is the first step toward feeling better, and I am here to walk alongside you. About My Practice & Expertise I am a licensed therapist with over seven years of experience helping adolescents, college students, and adults find their footing during difficult times. My greatest joy is helping you gain insight into what is holding you back so you can move forward with confidence. I specialize in helping clients navigate: ADHD & Executive Functioning: Finding practical, everyday focus and structure. Coping Skills & Stress Management: Expanding your toolkit to better manage anxiety and daily pressure. Life Transitions & Parenting: Partnering with adults and parents to build effective caregiving strategies and handle major life shifts. Anger Management: Developing strong self-regulation and emotional awareness. My Approach My approach is holistic, collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental. I celebrate the unique differences that make you who you are. In our sessions, we will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and restructure negative thought patterns, alongside Mindfulness-Based Therapy to build emotional awareness and reduce physical tension. Together, we will create actionable strategies to improve your daily functioning and overall well-being.
The goal of our first session is to get to know each other and begin building rapport. I want to learn about your expectations and therapy goals. As an empathetic and non-judgmental person, I strive to make you feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we meet. At the end of the first session we can decide if we are a good fit and the direction treatment will take.
Supporting your personal growth and emotional well-being is essential for successful therapy. My therapeutic approach is genuine and recognizes that healing is not a linear journey; the path is often filled with twists and turns. I am here to help you navigate any barriers that may arise, offering encouragement and support along the way. Combining activities between sessions with our discussions during therapy can enhance treatment effectiveness and help you get the most out of our time together.
I have experience supporting high school students and parents during stressful times. I have helped clients manage ADHD symptoms, build coping skills, improve relationships, develop anger management techniques, as well as overcome anxiety and depression. Most often, our coping skills were developed by trial and error without conscious awareness. If you find yourself struggling through life, doubting yourself, and wishing things could change, let me help you grow and learn. You have the power to create change because how you look at life and what you tell yourself directly impacts your behaviors. I believe everyone enriches this world in their own way when they are functioning at their highest level.
