Your well-being is my ultimate concem. I have been practicing for over 30 years and have masters and doctoral degrees. I have written articles and appeared on both radio and TV.. I enjoy travel, exercise, hiking, camping, and activities with family and friends.
First session
I see therapy as guidance in the path of self healing. At the first session, we will begin to get to know each other, what you are dealing with, and where you would like to be in your life.

I am open and take a collaborative approach to communication.. I will engage with you but ultimately, you are the boss. I am active and responsive in sessions combined with reflective listening.
Ideal clients
I enjoy helping folks who are experiencing life concerns or issues that are obstacles on their path to happiness. I like working with people of all ages, sexual orientations, individuals, couples, and families. After many years in practice, I have done a lot but enjoy learning new treatment approaches and techniques on an ongoing basis. I really love the variety of working with different people.

I use multiple treatment methods but CBT is probably what I utilize most frequently. It is about changing thoughts and behaviors to get the results we desire.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
I work with parents and children to develop the relationships and functional families that they want to create.
Couples Counseling
I work with couples on communication and connection, creating happy and positive relationships.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help people develop skills for calming and mindfulness, improving relationships, emotional regulation, and managing stress.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
This is an approach designed to develop solutions and focuses on client strengths to quickly solve problems.
