I am passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing a moment or series of events in their life that seem difficult, unacceptable, or painful. I am here to listen, support, guide, and help you to work through those moments, as well as celebrate your wins and successes. "This too shall pass" moments are an absolute truth in life, and I look forward to working with you while they do. Currently serving the states of New York, Washington, Pennsylvania and Maryland. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling all over the world, raising my teenager, learning Croatian, working out, trying new recipes, and spoiling my pit bulls!
First session
I look forward to getting to know you, hearing what you are experiencing and how this affects you, and what I can do to help. We can build a plan together, at your pace, and hold each other accountable on our journey together.
Strengths
I specialize in helping others with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, divorce, custody issues, self-esteem issues, substance abuse and/ or trauma (or all of the above!) I am a certified Recovery Specialist and certified Family Recovery Specialist. I am a former high school teacher (10 years) who believes that change is possible!
Ideal clients
Ideally, clients should be prepared to challenge themselves and adopt a growth mindset, even if that feels a little scary and uncomfortable at first! We can build our plan together, at your pace, based on where you are and what barriers you may be experiencing. We can then work to challenge our thought patterns or behaviors that may be holding you back from being your ideal self!

Motivational Interviewing
This treatment modality identifies reasons for positive change, evaluates where you are in relation to making changes, and then identifies how to make positive changes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
This therapeutic method involves identifying and challenging thought patterns and unhelpful behaviors, and linking these to our emotions, to improve well-being and identify opportunities for change.
