You are overwhelmed, overthinking everything, and overfunctioning just to keep things afloat. You are the one everyone relies on, but you are exhausted. You have gotten used to carrying everything for everyone, and if we are being honest, it is costing you your peace, your energy, and often yourself. If this sounds familiar, it is because I hear it all the time. It reflects the lived experiences of most of the clients I work with. In our sessions, we won't just talk about what is happening. We'll get honest about what's driving it and we work to change it. I'll help you notice the patterns that are keeping you stuck and challenge them in real time so that you can build something more sustainable in your actual day-to-day life.

Hi, I'm Lindsay. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Conflict is an unavoidable part of life. Sometimes we see it slowly building over time, and other times it arrives unexpectedly through a significant life event. These challenges can lead to anxiety, depression, trauma, or a decline in self-esteem. They may affect our relationships, daily functioning, and overall sense of well-being. At times, they can even cause us to seek comfort in unhealthy ways. While conflict is a natural part of life, growth and healing often begin when we are willing to face it. My goal is to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges, move forward from difficult experiences, and develop healthier, more effective ways of coping. I believe every person possesses unique strengths, and my approach focuses on identifying and building upon those strengths while working collaboratively to create meaningful solutions and achieve personal goals. Whether you are facing a current struggle, working through a past experience, or simply seeking greater balance in your life, I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where growth and positive change can occur.

I’m Chelsea, a somatic-first therapist who helps people move from emotional overwhelm into steadiness and clarity. In my practice, I guide clients to slow down, notice what’s happening in their bodies, and act from a grounded, regulated place rather than from panic, old wounds, or automatic patterns. I blend ACT, DBT, CBT, and embodied awareness to help people understand their thoughts, regulate their nervous systems, and build relationships and behaviors that align with their values. My work is gentle, intuitive, and deeply human — focused on helping clients feel anchored, present, and capable of choosing the life they want.

I am Nicole Groves, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing direct, holistic, and trauma-informed therapy across Texas, Iowa, Louisiana, and Missouri. My practice bridges the gap between traditional mental health support and somatic healing, helping clients build resilience, regulate their nervous systems, and navigate life's challenges. Transitioning from a career as a K-12 educator into community mental health and private practice gave me a deep, firsthand understanding of chronic stress, occupational burnout, and systemic pressure. I specialize in supporting individuals in high-stakes helping professions—such as teachers, nurses, and first responders—as well as offering affirming, nonjudgmental care for the LGBTQ+, polyamorous, and kink/BDSM communities. In our sessions, I combine evidence-based behavioral methods like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT with somatic techniques and yoga-based mindfulness. My approach is entirely collaborative and tailored to your specific background and goals. Whether you are working through burnout, processing trauma, or navigating anxiety, I provide an inclusive, safe space where you can show up authentically, process the weight you carry, and create lasting personal growth.

Hello! I am Susan. Are you feeling stuck in life and defined by past traumas or mistakes? Do you find these issues affecting your ability to establish quality relationships? Does anxiety or depression feel like a constant companion? It is my goal to meet each individual where they are at in life and learn their story so that we can address the core issues and not just treat the surface symptoms. I work from a strengths-based approach as we identify barriers to progress and create a path forward to overcome those barriers. I love to meet each new client and feel humbled to bear witness to their stories and their healing. Seeking therapy can feel so intimidating. It takes great courage to face the memories and issues you may have avoided up until now. When we meet, it will be your goals and values that guide treatment. I will allow you to set the pace so that the process feels tolerable. It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk with others through hard places. I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatments depending on your needs and preferences. Let healing start now.

Having personally experienced all of these things, gives me a true understanding and unique perspective while working with clients. Through past work with clients and my own personal journey with caregiving, deep grief, end-of-life issues, chronic illness and related burnout, I realized that my special talents lie in helping people who are seeking help with these things themselves. I love teaching and speaking for groups who want to learn more about all of these things. Hey, I’m Amber. I’m so glad you’re here! I know sometimes it can be pretty scary searching for a therapist who helps you feel known and understood. That is the kind of therapist I strive to be. Let me share a little about myself. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 11 years now. I worked in community mental health for 10 1/2 of those years before deciding to branch into my own private practice. I am now licensed in Illinois and Missouri. I grew up in a very conservative and religious family, even attending seminary, so I do know those beliefs well. It took me until I was 25 to be brave enough to live my authentic self as a gay individual, knowing it would cost me most of my family and friends. It hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it. It is now my desire to be the support for you that I never had as you live your own truth and tell your own story.

I’m a small-town woman who has navigated life’s joys, transitions, and challenges, including divorce, raising and caring for a child with special needs, loss, love, and the unexpected turns that are part of being human. These experiences have shaped not only who I am, but also the compassion, perspective, and understanding I bring to my work as a therapist and life and wellness coach. I have a passion for connecting with real people facing real challenges. I work with individuals who are looking for more than simply a place to talk; they want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them from living the life they want. I believe meaningful change begins when we feel safe enough to be honest about where we are and hopeful enough to believe that something different is possible. My approach is warm, thoughtful, collaborative, and straightforward. I believe in meeting people where they are, without judgment, while also helping them look honestly at what may be preventing them from moving forward. Together, we can explore patterns, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences, while developing practical tools that support healthier choices, stronger boundaries, greater confidence, and lasting personal growth. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I consider it a privilege when someone chooses to share their story with me. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, understood, and supported as we work toward greater clarity and a more intentional and fulfilling life. I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you, learn about your story, and explore how I can support you in moving forward. My name is Dan Cooper, and I have been a licensed counselor since 2008. My path to this work was shaped early on by a year of public service with AmeriCorps, followed by time working in a transitional living program for homeless youth. Watching counselors help young people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives inspired me to pursue this work myself — and that sense of purpose has stayed with me ever since. My approach to counseling is fundamentally collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and circumstances. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to offer an outside perspective, help you clarify what you want, and support you in taking accountable steps toward your own goals. Together, we work as a team.

I am a social worker with 25 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan — from infants and their caregivers to older adults navigating later‑life challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and behaviors. When we learn to understand and reshape those thoughts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), I help clients harness the power of their thinking to influence how they feel and act in everyday situations. Many people have been taught to “just change their behavior,” and when that doesn’t work, they blame themselves. I guide clients toward a different approach — one that starts with the mind, not with willpower. In our sessions, I use analogies, real‑life examples, and practical tools that clients can immediately apply. My goal is for every session to end with one new tool for their toolbox, something concrete they can practice between sessions. And while the work is meaningful, I believe it can also be engaging — even fun — as clients begin to see themselves and the world through a new, more empowering lens.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use.
